Iwona Nosko

Biography

Iwona Nosko, between 1995 and 2000 studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Polen.

“Between the wind and the silence there is still the same uncertainty. How far, how high above the world, difficult to remember, will you dream wings be able to take you. Between the flight and the rest there is still the same fear – how not to melt the precious wings with pieces of everyday. How to keep the stubbornness to fight gravity – climb a tower, break away or just jump – glide in alliance with the wind.

How to save memory of little hands building kites, playing recklessly and getting ready to fly on board. Do you remember returning for the secret flying school? Torn trousers, bruised knees….

Admit that you still don’t believe those we have become saying a man does not fly.”
